Florian Louisoder was born in Munich, Germany. After graduating from boarding school at Schule Schloss Salem near Lake Constance, he moved to the United States to attend Bennington College in Vermont where he received BA’s in literature and philosophy. He has always had a love of history, adventure stories and science fiction tales, especially Jules Verne, H. G. Wells, Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov. A natural story teller, he finally yielded to his friends encouragement to “write a novel” which resulted in his first books, the two part “Shock Wave” series. When he isn’t writing he enjoys motorcycling, aviation, watching classic movies, fine art and traveling. He lives in California with his wife Lynn and their parrot Oscar.
